We are always looking at new opportunities to increase our reach and raise more funds for the work of 3H – our trustee Michael sent us this update
‘I was the after dinner speaker at Carluke Rotary Club, the subject of the talk was ‘Hours of Human Happiness, Kyemula, past & present projects.’ The talk was well received with attendees expressing particular interest in the education related projects including sponsorship, phonics to improve early learning and University Scholarships during questions afterwards. A selection of newsletters and report cards were presented on a display table and several of the attendees asked for their congratulations to be forwarded to the children and staff for their hard work and high level of achievement. 3H thanks Carluke Rotary Club for the kind invitation to share information on these projects and the people involved, particular thanks were conveyed to Rotarians Rodger Price & Jack Kelly for their help in arranging the talk and also to Club President Tony Hey for his kind introduction and support on the night.’
When the truck delivers the food, it makes sense to use it to collect the firewood too!
